Santa Clara, Calif. -- Data Robotics, a Santa Clara-based developer of automated storage products, said on Thursday that it has raised $10 million in its fifth round of funding, led by Focus Ventures. Previous investors Greylock Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), RRE Ventures and Sutter Hill Ventures also participated in the round, which the company will use to accelerate research and development programs, as well as expand its sales and marketing initiatives. Data Robotics,which also landed $15 million last September, said that its Drobo data storage products combine the ability to quickly expand capacity with the company's redundant disk protection technology.
