San Francisco -- WonderHill, a San Francisco-based developer of casual online games, has raised $7 million in its first round of financing, VentureBeat reported. Investors included Charles River Ventures and Shasta Ventures. Founded in 2008, WonderHill develops casual games like "Green Spot" and "Dog World," which can be played on MySpace and Facebook. The company was founded by former Tickle CEO James Currier, and includes chief creative officer Nick Rush, who formerly held the same post at EA's casual games site, Pogo.com.
