San Francisco -- PowerReviews, a San Francisco-based provider of customer review technology to online retailers, said on Tuesday that it has raised $6.1 million in a new round of funding, co-led by Menlo Ventures and Tenaya Capital. PowerReviews provide customer review and social merchandising tools to more than 800 clients, including Orbitz, Radio Shack, Toys R Us and Staples. The company, which now has raised nearly $30 million since its inception, also operates product review and recommendation site Buzzillions.com.
