San Mateo, Calif. -- Marketo, a San Mateo-based developer of software designed for marketing and sales employees, said on Tuesday that it has landed $10 million in its fourth round of funding, led by Mayfield Fund. Previous investors InterWest Partners and Storm Ventures also participated in the round, which boosted the company's total backing to $32 million. Marketo said that its marketing and sales tool shave been used by more than 500 companies since 2008. The news comes just seven months after the company announced its third round of funding.
