Pleasanton, Calif. -- PacsGear, a Pleasanton-based provider of imaging connectivity for electronic health records, said that it has acquired Auburn-based NAI Tech Products, a medical device company specializing in the digital video capture of medical images. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PacsGear said that the acquisition will allow it to offer a complete line of video capture products that complement its connectivity platform. "This acquisition increases the range of solutions that we can offer our customers," said Brian Cavanaugh, the president of PacsGear. "These products give hospitals with legacy imaging equipment a platform to connect and share images."
