San Jose, Calif. -- After partnering with the firm for more than two years, San Jose-based eBay said on Wednesday it has acquired Oregon-based mobile app developer Critical Path Software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Critical Path has worked with eBay to help develop mobile apps such as eBay for iPhone, as well as iPhone apps for StubHub, eBay Classifieds and Shopping.com. "We're very serious about innovating in mobile commerce, and this acquisition underscores our commitment," said Mark Carges, the CTO and senior vice president of global products for eBay Marketplaces.
