San Mateo, Calif. -- RedSeal Systems, a San Mateo-based developer of network security optimization tools, on Tuesday named board member Parveen Jain as its new CEO. Jain, a board member since 2007, has been serving as acting CEO since the recent departure of CEO Tom Arthur. Prior to that, he was the co-founder and CEO of digital marketing analytics firm JovianDATA, and the executive vice president for corporate development and strategy, CMO and executive vice president of marketing at McAfee. RedSeal's software is designed to analyze and simplify the interaction of firewalls and all other network security devices.
