Pleasanton, Calif. -- Visioneer, a Pleasanton-based developer of scanner technology, said on Friday it has promoted Jon Harju to the role of CTO. Harju joined the company in 2005 as its senior vice president of engineering, and previously managed all hardware and software development for Visioneer and Xerox DocuMate scanners. In his now role, he will be responsible for the strategic direction of all Visioneer products and technology.
