Dublin-Based Medley Health Raises $20 Million in First Round

Dublin, Calif. -- Medley Health, a Dublin-based provider of membership practice marketing and communications services for independent primary care physicians, said on Wednesday it has raised $20 million in its first round of funding. Cardinal Partners, Technology Partners and Vivo Ventures participated in the round, which the company will use to expand its physician partnerships, bolster its services, increase staff and fund the development of its membership-based practice model. The news comes just two weeks after the company announced a strategic collaboration with athenahealth, a maker of cloud-based practice management, electronic health record and care coordination services.
