San Jose, Calif. -- Adobe Systems, the San Jose-based web publishing software giant, said on Wednesday it will acquire Sunnyvale-based Efficient Frontier, a provider of search engine marketing services to online advertisers. Financial terms of the deal, expected to close by early March, were not disclosed. Adobe said the acquisition will add multi-channel ad campaign forecasting, execution and optimization capabilities to its existing digital marketing suite. "With the explosion in global Internet advertising, our customers need to know where, when and how to spend their digital marketing dollars to get the greatest return," said Brad Rencher, the senior vice president and general manager of Adobe's Digital Marketing Business.
