San Francisco -- MC10, a Massachusetts-based developer of electronics for the healthcare industry, said on Thursday it has landed a $2 million investment from San Francisco-based Aberdare Ventures. The company also has named Paul Klingenstein, managing partner at Aberdare, to its board of directors. MC10 said it is developing a variety of products including interventional circuits, which can diagnose and influence tissue function, and "seamless sensing" devices that can monitor aspects of performance such as the heart (ECG), the brain (EEG), muscles (EMG), body temperature and hydration.
