San Francisco -- StyleSeat, a San Francisco-based website that lets users search and book beauty services online, said it has raised $775,000 in funding from Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary's A-Grade, Founders Fund, Sophia Bush, as well as current investors. The company, which previously had closed a $750,000 round of angel funding, said it will use the new round to fuel growth. "This funding will allow us to make a few strategic moves in the coming months that will put us in a strong position in 2012," said CEO Melody McCloskey. Launched by McCloskey and Dan Levine last May, StyleSeat said its service already has booked more than $17 million in appointments for its salons, spas and professionals.
