Santa Clara, Calif. -- ViVOtech, a Santa Clara-based developer of near field communication (NFC) software and systems, said on Monday it has raised an unspecified amount in its fourth round of funding. The company did not disclose the identities of investors. ViVOtech now has landed $96 million since its founding in 2001 from investors including EDBI, SingTel Innov8, Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, Alloy Ventures, Citi Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurveston, DFJ Gotham, First Data, Miven Ventures, Motorola Mobility, Nokia Growth Partners and NCR. "With this latest financing, we're armed to extend our leadership position providing the infrastructure needed to deliver on the promise of mCommerce," said Mick Mullagh, ViVOtech's executive chairman.
