San Francisco-- Third Rock Ventures, a Boston-based venture capital firm focused on building life sciences companies, has named Mark Goldsmith as a venture partner in its San Francisco office. Goldsmith previously served as the president and CEO of biopharmaceutical firm Constellation Pharmaceuticals, a Third Rock portfolio company. At Third Rock, Goldsmith will serve as a senior advisor and participate in the development and leadership of new companies. He also will continue serving as executive chairman of Constellation Pharmaceuticals.
