Redwood City, Calif. -- Zenprise, a Redwood City-based developer of mobile device management technology, on Monday named Amit Pandey as its new president and CEO. Pandey, most recently served as the CEO of Terracotta, succeeds Jayaram Bhat, who will remain an advisor to the company. He previously led the data management business at NetApp, and was the general manager of NetApp's enterprise security gateway business. The news comes six months after Zenprise raised $30 million in a round of funding led by Greylock Partners. Founded in 2003, Zenprise offers technology for mobile devices that protect sensitive corporate data, shields networks from mobile threats and maintains compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.
