Falls Church, Va. -- Defense technology giant General Dynamics said on Monday it has completed its acquisition of San Francisco-based IPWireless, a provider of 3G and 4G LTE network equipment for police and military customers. Financial terms of the all-cash deal, originally announced a month ago, were not disclosed. IPWireless has been renamed General Dynamics Broadband, and will operate as a unit of General Dynamics C4 Systems. "General Dynamics Broadband's technologies allow us to expand our commercial networking solutions to better serve the needs of our customers, including municipalities who are moving to broadband public safety networks such as the FirstNet nationwide interoperable broadband network," said Chris Marzilli, the president of General Dynamics C4 Systems.
