Pleasanton, Calif. -- IntegenX, a Pleasanton-based developer of rapid human DNA identification technology, said on Monday it has opened a new office near Washington, DC to support its work with federal agencies. The office will be managed by Joseph DiZinno, who has been named senior director of federal programs. DiZinno most recently served as the technical director of homeland security and law enforcement at BAE Systems, and previously spent 22 years with the FBI. The news comes seven months after IntegenX raised $40 Million in its third round of funding, led by Essex Woodlands. Other backers include Domain Associates, QuestMark Partners, Greenspring Associates, Cross Creek Capital, RONAholdings, Samsung Ventures and In-Q-Tel.
