Menlo Park, Calif. -- Delphix, a Menlo Park-based developer of agile data software, said on Wednesday it has raised $25 million in its third round of funding, led by Jafco Ventures. New investors Summit Partners and Battery Ventures and previous backers Greylock Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners also participated in the round, which increased the company's total funding to $45.5 million. Delphix, which emerged from stealth mode in 2010, makes software designed to virtualize the data within enterprise databases, reducing database storage costs while increasing application team productivity and returns on database investments, as well as hastening time to market.
