Menlo Park, Calif. -- eSionic, a Menlo Park-based developer of energy storage technology, on Wednesday named Srinivas Nimmagadda as its new president and CEO. Nimmagadda, who had served as the company's president and COO, succeeds Subodh Toprani, who will become executive chairman. He earlier served as the vice president of business development at ZettaCore. eSionic's backers include Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Oxford Bioscience Partners and Panasonic.
