San Francisco -- ON24, a San Francisco-based provider of webcasting and virtual event services, said on Tuesday it has acquired Spain-based Imaste, a provider of virtual events in Europe. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The company said the acquisition -- its first ever -- will bolster its presence in Europe and Latin America, as well as enhance its position in the worldwide virtual events market. Imaste delivers virtual events products and services to clients such as Deloitte, Accenture, The Economist, British Council, Top Language Jobs, Renault and Monster.com. "Imaste's market expertise and strong European presence complement ON24's current London operations perfectly," said CEO Sharat Sharan.
