Sunnyvale, Calif. -- Looxcie, the Sunnyvale-based developer of a mobile-connected, handsfree and wearable video cam, said it has signed a technology development deal with In-Q-Tel (IQT), a Virginia-based venture fund backed by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The company said the agreement will allow for the development of next-generation video cams utilizing Looxcie's intellectual property. The technology is being developed for the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T). Financial components of the deal were not disclosed.
