Mountain View, Calif. -- SVForum, a non-profit organization for technologists and entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, on Wednesday named the top award winners from its Launch: Silicon Valley 2012 event, held Tuesday at Microsoft's campus in Mountain View. The six winners were chosen from 30 new companies that presented to an audience and a panel of Silicon Valley VCs and angels, whose combined votes determined the winners. Over 300 companies applied to present at the event. Those named "Most Likely to Succeed" included: Los Altos-based Evena (Life Science), Palo Alto-based Klickex (Mobile), New York-based Noodle (Next Generation Internet 1), Burlingame-based SocialiQ (Next Generation Internet 2), San Francisco-based Kiverdi (Technology 1) and San Francisco-based ZipZap (Technology 2).
